What is Seelo?

What is a DICOM print server?

A DICOM print server is software that receives medical images (MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray) from imaging equipment via the DICOM protocol, then automatically sends them to printers with a layout suited to each modality. S_Print, built by Seelo, supports the DICOM Print and DICOM Store protocols and requires no proprietary imager.

What is the difference between S_Print, S_Diff and S_Burn?

S_Print is Seelo's DICOM print server: it connects every imaging modality to every printer, with automatic layout. S_Diff adds secure sharing: an HDS-hosted patient portal, sending to the DMP (the French shared medical record) and HL7 linking for reports. S_Burn automates burning DICOM studies to physical media (CD, DVD, USB), triggered directly from the DICOM flow, without tying up care teams.

Does S_Print need specific hardware or a dedicated imager?

No. S_Print installs on a standard PC running Windows 10/11 (8 GB RAM minimum) or on a virtual machine (VMware, Proxmox). It requires no proprietary imager or dedicated server — it fits into the imaging department's existing infrastructure.

Which standards is Seelo software based on?

Seelo software is natively compatible with the open standards DICOM, IHE and HL7. It fits into your existing imaging workflow, with no proprietary gateway.
