What is S_Burn?
S_Burn is automated DICOM burning software developed by Seelo. It burns imaging studies to physical media (CD or DVD) directly from the DICOM flow, with no manual handling, with an embedded viewer readable without specialised software.
How is burning triggered?
Burning is triggered automatically when the study is received via the DICOM flow. No action is required from radiographers or medical secretaries.
Does S_Burn work with S_Print and S_Diff?
Yes. S_Burn is driven from the same interface as S_Print (DICOM printing) and S_Diff (HDS/DMP sharing). The three products share a single console and the same open standards: DICOM, IHE and HL7.
When is S_Burn used?
For patients without digital access, study transfers between facilities and regulatory archiving on physical media — the contexts where paperless delivery is not possible or not sufficient.
Is S_Burn maintenance included?
Yes. Remote maintenance and on-site work are included for the whole duration of the contract. Phone support Monday to Saturday, 8am–2am; guaranteed email response within 2 business hours.
